Singer/ dancer James Brown is born in Barnwell, South Carolina. Brown is referred to as "The Godfather of Soul" and "The Hardest Working Man in Show Business." He had several hit singles including "I Feel Good", "Sex Machine", "Say it Loud (I'm Black and I'm Proud)" and "Living in America."
