Retired NBA Player Willis Reed Jr. born in Hico, Louisiana. Reed spent his entire career with the New York Knicks, and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1982. He contributed to 2 championships for the Knicks (1970, 1973) and was named as an NBA all star 7 times. He was also the MVP in 1970. The Knicks retired his Jersey #19.
